Avast Free Antivirus for Mac is Avast's answer to concerns about how to browse safely. The application is packaged with a brand-new, easy-to-understand graphical user interface, with access to all features available at single click. The application's onscreen tools are well-organized, and its live graphics enhance the feeling of safety -- you can see that the antivirus software doesn't sleep and is always working to protect you from any viruses circulating on the Web. Avast's free software provides three shields to protect your computer: a file system shield, an e-mail shield, and a Web shield. It’s why we built Avast Cleanup Pro which scans your Mac top-to-bottom for these files and gets rid of them automatically for you — across your entire hard disk. Our cleanup application gets rid of all the junk you don’t need on your MacBook, Mac, or iMac. (styled avast!) is an antivirus computer program available to Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux users, with a user interface available in 41 languages. The name Avast is an acronym of "Anti-Virus – Advanced Set". With all three representing a door to your computer, Avast does a great job of watching these entrances. However, this comes at a cost, and we don't mean money: as soon as you launch the app, you'll notice a slight drop in your computer's performance, which is due to Avast being at work scanning your entire computer for infected files. Secondly, it affects your browser's performance, as it also scans the pages you attempt to navigate to for viruses through the extensions it installs in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome browsers. We did find its notification feature handy, as it informs the user about its actions, so you'll always know what the software is up to. Overall, Avast Antivirus for Mac is a nice addition to your Mac toolbox. It's free and very easy to use. This really is getting used to washing and obvious your computer data from various dangerous factors such as spyware, trojans, rootkits, and infections easily. Avast Pro Antivirus 2018 Serial Keys is here now to stay away from you against offline an internet-based threats. Reply by Avast Team on September 25, 2017 Hi, gav357123. I know it's been a while since you originally posted this review, but I'd like to check back with you to see if you're still having these issues. It would be very helpful for us to see some screenshots of your Mac and how Avast is performing, which can help us determine what's causing the problem. Avast For Mac Site Cannot Be Reached ChromeSome Chrome users experienced issues when opening Microsoft sites in the web browser as they were greeted by a 'this site can't be reached' error instead of the real website. This happened on different Microsoft properties but not all of them. I experienced it when I tried to open the Microsoft Web Store for instance, but also elsewhere if sign in was required to access the content. The error message reads in full: This site can't be reached www.microsoft.com unexpectedly closed the connectin Try Checking the connectin Checking the proxy and the firewall Running Windows Network Diagnostics The issue was not on my top list of issues that I wanted to investigate as I'm not using Chrome as my main browser.
